Engr. Dr. Chidi N. Muoghalu

Engr. Dr. Chidi N. Muoghalu is the current Head of the Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. A highly experienced academic and professional engineer, he is well-versed in power systems, electronics, control engineering, and electrical design.

Under his leadership, the department is focused on equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills relevant to current industry demands. He is dedicated to enhancing research output, promoting innovation, and fostering a student-centered learning environment aimed at solving real-world electrical engineering problems.

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Admission (UTME Entry)
  • Five O' Level Credits (max two sittings) in:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Biology or related science subject
  • 5-year B.Eng. Programme
Direct Entry Admission
  • GCE 'A' Level/IJMB/JUPEB in two relevant science subjects plus O' Level credits
  • OND (Upper Credit) - eligible for Year II if foundational courses covered
  • HND (Upper Credit) - may be considered for Year III based on alignment

All Direct Entry candidates must meet standard O' Level requirements.
