Engr. Prof. C. A. Nwabueze is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. A renowned academic and professional engineer, Prof. Nwabueze is known for his expertise in engineering systems, sustainable infrastructure, and technological innovation.

Under his leadership, the Faculty of Engineering is dedicated to training highly skilled engineers equipped to solve real-world problems. Philosophy and Values

The faculty aims to produce job-creating engineers equipped with sound knowledge, high ethical practices, and innovative abilities. Emphasis is placed on understanding, planning, designing, operating, and maintaining modern engineering practices. Research and development, with a focus on local content application, are encouraged.

Admission Requirements and Procedures

Undergraduate Admission Requirements:

  • Credit level passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination in five subjects including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and one other science subject, obtained in one or two sittings.
  • OR GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent credit level passes in five subjects including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and one other science subject, obtained in one or two sittings.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements:

  • GCE ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • OR OND at the Upper Credit level.
  • Candidates must also satisfy UME admission requirements.
